Convention Registration Form
Convention registration forms will be mailed to those current in dues by April 1 and who have paid the supplemental
print fee. All others may download the forms below. Payment may be made by check or VISA/MC -- online registration is NOT available at this time.
Click on the name of the form below to download. Registration Fees (unchanged for 3 years)All those whose name appears on the program must pay a Convention Registration Fee, including session chairs and presenters from the local host institutions. The fee schedule follows:
Extra GUEST banquet tickets will ONLY be available for purchase up until September 15 at a price of $30 each. NO Banquet tickets will be available after September 15. The banquet meal choices are Cashew Chicken, Salmon Florentine and Meatless Lasagna. Saturday Women's Caucus BreakfastTickets are available at US$16 each for the Women's Caucus Breakfast that will be held on Saturday, October 11, from 8:30 am - 10:00 am. Breakfast will include juices, sliced fruits, assorted yogurts and granola, bagels with cream cheese, date nut bread, coffee and tea. The Women's Caucus Seminar will be held immediately following the breakfast, from 10:15 am - 11:45 am. Both events will be held in Andreotti's Restaurant. You may sign up for the breakfast on the convention registration form; reservations possible until noon on Friday, October 10.
Optional Excursions for Saturday AfternoonThis year, we will offer two optional (fee-based) excursions: one excursion to Virginia City (location of Mark Twain's first journalism job, at the Virginia City Territorial Enterprise) and one to Lake Tahoe. All sessions end at noon on Saturday; both excursions leave Harrah's at 1:00 pm. Space on the excursions is limited, so book early. Reservations will be made directly with the tour operator, Convention Activities. Their reservation form is downloadable HERE, BUT please mail this directly to them, not RMMLA.
Payment MethodsRegistration and banquet fees may be paid by check or by VISA/MasterCard -- by snail mail (RMMLA, PO Box 642610, Pullman, WA 99164-2610), by phone (509-335-4198) or by fax (509-335-3708). We do NOT have online payment for convention-related fees.RefundsRequests for refunds of convention registration fees must be made in writing to the Secretariat and must be postmarked on or before September 1. A $25 service fee will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds are given for unused banquet tickets.Convention Check-in ScheduleConvention participants will pick up registration materials (badge, program, receipts, banquet tickets, etc.) at the "RMMLA Convention Registration Desk".
