- Each year, local host institutions are sought to serve as the host institution(s) for the Association’s
annual business meeting and scholarly convention. Service as a local host institution is a concrete symbol of
that institution’s support of the mission and activities of the Association, and is necessary if the Association
is to continue serving its members by organizing such a professional gathering.
- Invitations from institutions that wish to host the annual convention may be received by any member of the
Executive Board and are acted upon by the Program Committee, in consultation with the full Executive Board.
- Information on the types of assistance (logistical and financial) given by the local host institution to the
Association is available from the Executive Director upon request.
