Ideally located in the heart of Reno, Harrah's is within walking distance of all that this great city has to offer -- the RiverWalk, UNR campus, shopping, fine dining, movie theatres, cafés, the National Automobile Museum, and of course, casinos. On the weekend of the RMMLA convention, the show in "Sammy's Showroom" at Harrah's will be Greg London's ICONS. Tickets may be purchased in advance through Harrah's Web site, BUT discount coupon books are available at the hotel and reservations can be made there, based on space available.

Room Types, Rates and Cancellation Policy

The RMMLA discounted rates (Single/Double, Group Code: S10ROCK):

  • Wednesday and Thursday night @ $59.00 each night
  • Friday night @ $119.00
  • Saturday night @ $169.00
The cut-off date for the RMMLA discount rate at Harrah's Reno is SEPTEMBER 15, 2008, but the RMMLA block may be sold out before that date.

Please note:

  • Above rates are subject to 13.5% tax or prevailing tax on day of arrival.
  • Individual attendees will make reservations via phone-in to Harrah's Central Reservations at 1-888-726-6311.
  • Individuals must ask for Reno and identify themselves with the Group Code: S10ROCK to receive the special group rate.
  • Specific room requests are not guaranteed; however, every effort will be made to facilitate each request.
  • A $10 surcharge per guest, per room, per night will apply for each additional person over 2 people regardless of age.
  • Credit card deposit for first night’s room and tax is required to guarantee individual reservations. Individual credit card’s will be charged first night’s room and tax at time of reservation.
  • Revisions to a phone-in reservation will be made directly to our Central Reservations.
  • Individuals will be required to present a credit card upon check-in for credit identification purposes in lieu of corporate guarantee of charges.
  • Cancellation Policy is 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of first night’s room and tax.
  • Check in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 12:00 noon. Any departures after this time are subject to a ½ day charge.
  • Individual will be responsible for all Room, Tax and incidentals.
  • The Hotel will continue to accept reservations after the specified cut-off date of 9/15/08 on a space available basis at the prevailing hotel rate.
Convention hotels often give associations discount rates on the rental of meeting rooms based on the number of sleeping rooms used. We try to negotiate the very best rate possible on those sleeping rooms for our members and ask that you make your reservations at the convention hotel in order to support RMMLA and help us keep our convention registration fees as low as we possibly can.

You can choose from one of the 928 beautifully appointed classic, standard and premium rooms, now with high-speed Internet available for a daily fee (currently $10.95 per day). And when it's time to eat, you can indulge in sushi, steak, Italian or their famous noodle bar, all on site at the hotel: Andreotti, Café Napa, Carvings Buffet, Harrah's Steak House, Ichiban, Lucky Noodle Bar, Quiznos & Starbucks.

Harrah's Reno's Health Club features treadmills, stationary bikes, Stairmasters and universal free-weight equipment. Brand-new Paramount equipment is also excellent for toning and conditioning your muscles. Strength trainers will appreciate their new Smith machines. Men's and women's locker rooms include showers, a steam room, redwood saunas and single use Jacuzzi tubs. Wolff tanning beds are available. Harrah's Reno's Health Club is located on the fifth floor of the West Tower. Harrah's Reno also has a 20' x 60' outdoor pool available seasonally.
