Registration Fees

All those whose name appears on the program must pay a Convention Registration Fee, including chairs and presenters from the local host institutions. The fee schedule follows:
  • EARLY DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FEE
    (Postmark/Transaction deadline of October 15)
    Includes program, access to all regular/special topic sessions and non-fee activities, and one ticket to the Friday Luncheon Banquet
    • Faculty = $80
    • Students = $60
  • LATE & ON-SITE REGISTRATION FEES
    (Payment after October 15)
    Includes program plus access to all regular/special topic sessions and non-fee activities (NO banquet ticket included)
    • Faculty = $110
    • Students = $80

Banquet Menu

Our menu for the luncheon banquet includes the following choices:
  • Beverly's Classic Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with homemade garlic croutons, served with the Resort's signature orange butter flake rolls and butter, chef's selection of petit fours, coffee/tea.
  • Peppercorn Round of Beef, finished with rich peppercorn demi-glaze, served on a bed offried onions, striped red potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables, served with the Resort's signature orange butter flake rolls and butter, chef's selection of petit fours, coffee/tea.
  • Marinated Tofu with Shiitake Mushrooms, served atop seasonal rice, stir-fried soba noodles, baby bok choy, carrots and green beans with peanut sauce,served with the Resort's signature orange butter flake rolls and butter, chef's selection of petit fours, coffee/tea.

Members indicate their meal choice on the convention registration form; if no choice is indicated on the registration form, the vegetarian option will be served. We regret that no special meal accommodation requests are possible.  

GUEST Banquet Tickets

Extra GUEST banquet tickets will ONLY be available for purchase up until October 15 at a price of $30 each. See menus above. NO Banquet tickets will be available after October 15.  

Optional Excursions for Saturday Afternoon

We are planning two excursions in the area for Saturday afternoon, October 22. All of the convention sessions end at 1:30 pm, so there is no conflict with the excursions. Reservations and pre-payment are required.
  • Excursion #1- Sandpoint, Idaho
    Shopping, Wine Tasting at the Pend Oreille Winery, Dinner
    Take a scenic drive north to the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho. You will have time to shop in the Cedar Street Bridge – home to Coldwater Creek, a unique cluster of stores filled with nature-related clothing, jewelry, gifts, fine furniture and bedding, plus framed prints and collectibles. Truly a one-of-a-kind shopping experience! You will then travel to Pend Oreille Winery, nestled on the shore of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, for a relaxing wine tasting and tour. Winery owners, Stephen and Julie Meyer, base their craft on years of vintner experience, acquired in France and stateside. The wine tasting will be followed by dinner at Swan’s Landing Restaurant and Lounge (vegetarian option available).
    Leave Coeur d’Alene Resort @ 2:00 pm; Return to the resort @ approximately 9:00 pm

    Fee: $75 per person (Minimum 15 people; Maximum 60 people; Must be 21 years of age)
    Fee Includes: Transportation, guide, wine tasting at Pend Oreille Winery and dinner at Swan’s Landing (no alcohol included at dinner, but may be purchased separately).

  • Excursion #2- History of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
    Coeur d’Alene Historical Sites, Clark House Mansion & Cataldo Mission
    Learn the early history of Coeur d’Alene as you view the original site of Fort Sherman and the lakeside homes. Travel 7 miles north for a tour of the Clark House Mansion. Overlooking the shores of Hayden Lake, the beautiful Clark Mansion majestically rests on a w ooded 12 acre estate, a reminder of a glorious past complete with princes, presidents, power, wealth and mystery. Finally, return to Coeur d’Alene by way of the Cataldo Mission, built by Jesuit missionaries and members of the Coeur d’Alene tribe between 1848 and 1853.
    Leave Coeur d’Alene Resort @ 2:00 pm; Return to the resort @ approximately 6:00 pm.

    Fee: $45 per person (Minimum 15 people needed; no maximum.)
    Fee includes: Transportation and guide.

Payment Methods

Registration and excursion fees may be paid by check or by VISA/MasterCard -- Online, by phone (509-335-4198) or by fax (509-335-3708).

Refunds

Requests for refunds of convention registration fees must be made in writing to the Secretariat and must be postmarked on or before October 15. A $30 service fee will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds are given for unused banquet tickets.

Convention Check-in Schedule

Convention participants will pick up registration materials - badge, program, receipts, banquet tickets, etc. - at the "Convention Center Registration Desk" at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Registration hours:
  • Wednesday, October 19, 3:00 - 6:00 pm
  • Thursday, October 20, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday, October 21, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Saturday, October 22, 7:30 am - 12:00 noon
All participants must check in at the Convention Registration Desk to verify registration and to obtain a badge and program.
